Elegant Erin made it her ninth career win on Wednesday at Beverley, scoring four of those wins over this course and distance.  She is incredibly tough and always gives her best in every race. It was great to see her finally get her head in front today—she truly deserved it after finishing second so many times this season.  Coming off a good run here a couple of weeks ago in the Beverley Bullet, everything was in her favour today. The rain had come, giving her suitable ground and a good draw in stall 1. After sitting midfield on the rail, the gaps opened up and she got a clear run to take the lead in the last furlong, winning by a length under a strong ride from David Nolan."

Now eight years old, Erin shows no signs of slowing down, and if she has come out of her race from the other day in good condition, then we might run again at her beloved Beverley.
